Deborah Murphy is the Director of Sales & Marketing at New York Environmental Technologies, Inc. She directs and coordinates all operational functions at the office as well as all sales, marketing and project management.  She also oversees technical projects such as soil vapor surveys, site assessments, and groundwater remediation.  Ms. Murphy’s considerable knowledge and experience serve to keep the NYETECH in compliance with various federal, state, and local regulations governing the handling and transporting of both hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Ms. Murphy is responsible for all phases of major projects, from initial customer contact and quotation to project completion.

Prior to her employment with NYETECH, Ms. Murphy was employed by the Village of Lyons as a Public Works Superintendent overseeing the Village’s street, water, and sewer departments and special projects.  Prior to this, Ms. Murphy was a Branch Manager at Environmental Products & Services, Inc. for more than 10 years.

Before that, Ms. Murphy was employed as a crew leader for survey companies in New York and Maine, where she was the Instrument Person on all field projects, Liaison for the Westerlo Planning Board, and deed researcher and drafter.  Previously, she worked in the field office for Engineering Enterprises, Inc. in Norman, Oklahoma under contract with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).  She was instrumental in an EPA study researching the extent of abandoned oil and gas wells in southwestern New York and their impact on the environment.  She is co-author of a final report submitted to the EPA entitled "Inventory of Abandoned Oil and Gas Wells in Cattaraugus County, New York."
